Princess Rajwa Al Hussein

Her Royal Highness Princess Rajwa Al Hussein was born in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on April 28, 1994, to Mr. Khalid bin Musaed bin Saif bin Abdulaziz Alseif and Mrs. Azza bint Nayef Abdulaziz Ahmad Al Sudairi. The youngest of four siblings, she has two brothers, Faisal and Nayef, and one sister, Dana.

Alseif family descends from the Subai tribe, and have been the sheikhs of the town of Attar in Sudair, Najd, since the beginning of the reign of King Abdulaziz Al Saud.

After completing her secondary education in Saudi Arabia, Her Royal Highness received a B.A. in Architecture from the Syracuse University School of Architecture in New York. She also holds a professional designation degree in Visual Communications from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles.

Princess Rajwa’s hobbies include horseback riding, drawing, handmade art, and creating digital architectural designs. She is fluent in English and French, in addition to her native Arabic.

Princess Rajwa has accompanied His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein on several field visits, including on official visits to the United States of America and the Republic of Singapore.

Family Life

On 1 June 2023, His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II and Her Royal Highness Princess Rajwa were married at Zahran Palace in the presence of Their Majesties King Abdullah II and Queen Rania Al Abdullah. The wedding was attended by Royal Hashemite Family members, Princess Rajwa’s family, and a number of international and Arab guests and royals.

On 3 August 2024, the Royal Hashemite Court announced that Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Al Hussein and Princess Rajwa were blessed with a baby girl they named Iman.
